Coins are the main currency in MC-OS and are the only way to buy things in the country. Coins are gotten from field drops, starter packs, work, etc. These superseded credits (as those were .125 of a coin) as the currency in MC-OS. There is no presence of inflation in the Coin economy, due to the high usage of coins.
